This Roof Repair Will Leak!

The roof to the left of the picture has the felt paper placed correctly, starting at the bottom and overlapping all the way to the top. The roof on the right of the picture

has the felt paper placed vertically and the rain will be allowed to penetrate between the seams and at the bottom portion of the roof.  What does this mean?  This means future leaks!  The Dallas Fort Worth area has received substantial hail damage over the past month and the roofers are busy.  As a Homeowner take the time to watch them replace and repair your roof to make sure that you are getting the product that you are paying for.  Not much worse that writing that check, it rains and the company is gone!
